1. Overview
TheCleverFix.com is a public, informational website for practical DIY learning. This notice describes our general approach to information connected with your visit or an email you choose to send. It is written in plain language and may be updated as the site changes.
2. Information you email
If you contact us, you voluntarily provide the information in your email, such as your name, email address, topic, message, and any project details or attachments you decide to include. Please avoid sending sensitive personal, financial, medical, or account information that is not needed for your question.
We use the message to read, respond to, and reasonably follow up on your request. Our contact page provides a clickable email address that opens your email application. There is no contact form or form submission on this site.
3. Hosting and service logs
Like most websites, the services that host and deliver this site may create routine technical logs. Those records can include an IP address, browser or device details, pages or files requested, the time of a request, and error or security information. Hosting services may also collect usage analytics and technical request or device data to operate and measure the website. This information is commonly used to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and understand the site.
5. External resources
Articles may point to manufacturers, retailers, safety resources, videos, or other helpful references. When you follow one of those links, your request goes to that separate service. Review that service's own privacy information before sharing details there; this notice does not govern external websites.
6. Sharing and sale
We do not intentionally sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers needed to host the site, deliver email, protect the site, or meet a valid legal or safety obligation. Those providers may process information only as necessary for their service or as their own terms and policies allow.
7. Retention and deletion requests
Email correspondence and related records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain security, resolve a concern, or meet a legitimate recordkeeping need. To request deletion of an email you sent, write to support@thecleverfix.com. We will review the request, though some limited information may need to be retained for security, legal, or operational reasons.
8. Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not intentionally seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the site, contact us so we can review the situation.
9. Updates and questions
We may revise this notice when the site or its practices change, and will update the date above when we do. For a privacy question or request, email support@thecleverfix.com.
